Benefits of the statutory health insurance scheme
Unfortunately, the statutory health insurance scheme (Caisse Nationale de Santé) does not cover all the costs of treatment incurred in a foreign country. In fact, it does not cover any costs at all in the case of some countries. In many cases, this means a considerable financial risk.

A person’s age of entry is defined as the difference between the year of birth and the year of the beginning of insurance.
- age scale 0-69 years: € 0.75
- more than 69 years: € 3.00
