This supplementary health insurance is specially designed for European Union officials and their families. Your health is guaranteed throughout Europe with the best medical cover.  It fills gaps in cover by paying the residual costs of curative treatment after deduction of EU benefits. This means that up to 100% of the costs incurred in the event of illness are covered.

Dental treatment

Dental treatment, scaling, dentures and orthodontics are reimbursed after deduction of the Joint Sickness Insurance Scheme (JSIS) contribution.

Outpatient treatment

You are covered for curative outpatient treatment.
This covers medical services, including physiotherapy and alternative treatment methods. Midwifery services are also included in the range of benefits.

 

Hospitalisation in first class

Inpatient treatment is covered.
As a first-class patient in hospital, you can be treated by a senior physician if you wish.

Cover abroad

You are covered for an unlimited period in Europe. Cover can also be temporarily extended worldwide.
