Reimbursement of hospitalisation costs

Ambulance transport to hospital (up to 400 km), costs of inpatient hospitalisation (also without the compulsory health insurance contribution), medical services and surgical operations, including childbirth, are among the many costs covered by HOSPITAL HEALTH.

Hospitalisation in first class

The cost of first-class hospitalisation is covered by HOSPITAL HEALTH. For your comfort, the cost of accommodation in a single room with telephone and TV rental are also reimbursed.

Free choice of physician

Receive the best possible care and benefit from free choice of physician, including senior physician. Excess fees for treatment are covered. 

Rooming-in for parents

If your child is insured, reimbursement of rooming-in costs means you can spend the night with your hospitalised child up to the age of 12, without worrying about the cost. In the event of the birth of a child, the father’s accommodation is also covered.

Daily allowances

In the event of hospitalisation, you receive a daily allowance of EUR 30 in addition to the reimbursement of all your expenses.

Coverage throughout Europe, and beyond

You benefit from the same cover in Luxembourg and throughout Europe. If you travel outside Europe, you also benefit from one month’s cover.
