Accessibility statement

DKV Luxembourg S.A., member of the LALUX Group undertakes to make its digital services and content available and accessible to all, including people with disabilities.
We strive to continuously improve the user experience for all our visitors and apply recognised accessibility standards, in particular WCAG 2.2 and the  European standard EN 301 549.
This accessibility declaration concerns LALUX’s website, available at the following address:  https://www.dkv.lu.

Status of compatibility with requirements

This website complies in part with the European standard EN 301 549 and the general reference framework which implements it, due to the elements listed below.

Inaccessible content

DKV Luxembourg continues to work on optimising the elements that do not yet comply with the relevant standards:

  • On some pages, there are links with no link text.
  • On all pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
  • There are unlabelled form fields on simple pages. Navigation with screen readers to form fields is difficult.
  • There are unlabelled buttons on almost every page. Navigation with screen readers to buttons is difficult.
  • There are invalid ARIA attribute values (hidden instructions that help assistive technologies such as screen readers) on several pages. These are not detected by screen readers and are therefore not displayed correctly.
  • On some pages, tables are not created correctly. Not all the data in the tables are assigned to table headers. It is not always clear which table content belongs to which table header.
  • On some pages, links are indistinguishable from the surrounding text.
  • On all the pages, there are interactive elements whose names are not included in the caption. This makes it difficult to control the website by voice.
  • There are images without captions on simple pages. It is difficult to navigate to images using screen readers.
  • On some pages, some headers have no caption or contain the aria-hidden attribute and are therefore inaccessible to screen readers.
