Data protection declaration
1. Scope of application

The following data protection declaration applies to the use of the website www.dkv.lu and the associated Internet pages such as the customer portal, the agent portal and the "Company Portal" (https://secure.dkv.lu/diac/).

The data controller is DKV Luxembourg S.A., 11-13 rue Jean Fischbach, L-3372 Leudelange. The data protection officer can be contacted at the address dpo@lalux.lu.
1.3
Personal data, which is information about an identified or identifiable natural person, falls into the category of personal data. This includes information such as the name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number as well as usage data such as the IP address. The personal data is collected, processed and used in accordance with the statutory provisions.
2. Automated data collection and processing by the browser
2.1
As with any website, DKV Luxembourg's server automatically and temporarily collects and saves the following information in the server log files which are transmitted by the browser provided that you have not deactivated cookies:
- the IP address of the requesting computer
- the client's file request
- the http response code
- the amount of data transferred
- the website from which you are visiting us (referring URL)
- the date and time of the server request
- browser type, version and language
- the operating system used by the requesting computer
- The personal data in the log files will not be used. At no time can your supplier link this data to specific individuals. This data is not cross-referenced with other data sources.
Additional session cookies are used to identify the person connected for the sole purpose of securing the connection to privatised sessions.

DKV Luxembourg informs that the website and portals use the Google Analytics system, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc ("Google") and the Google Maps system, see the cookies policy.
3. Collection and processing of provided data
3.1
When you took out an insurance policy, you provided personal data. Some of this data appears in your Customer Area. You have two functions at your disposal:
Update your contact details,
Report a claim.
The data associated with a claim is used to execute the insurance contract and to prevent fraud. This data is transmitted to the employees of DKV Luxembourg S.A., located at 11-13, rue Jean Fischbach, L-3372 Leudelange and is accessible by the agents of the LALUX network.
3.2
Contact data is used to manage the commercial relationship with its customers - including (unless they refuse) to inform them about products or services similar or complementary to those they have already subscribed to. This processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of DKV Luxembourg S.A. and to inform their customers and advise them on insurance products and services. This data is accessible to employees of the LALUX Group and accessible by agents of the LALUX network.
3.3
The period for which your data is stored is limited to the duration of the data processing and to the subsequent period during which the storage of the data is necessary to enable the data controller to comply with its obligations in accordance with the statute of limitations or in application of other legal provisions.
4. Collection and processing of data voluntarily provided
4.1
It is up to you whether or not to communicate personal data by e-mail, in the customer area or via the website. This data is used to fulfil the contract and to process your requests for quotations, complaints or opinions by e-mail.
4.2
If you wish DKV Luxembourg to contact you by post, email or telephone, you may enter your telephone number, email address or postal address. You enter this data of your own free will. Your information will only be saved and used by lalux to arrange contact.
4.3
Personal data that has been communicated via the website is only saved until the objective has been achieved, i.e. that which you have entrusted to DKV Luxembourg. When the execution is complete and the purpose has been achieved, your data will be blocked after the expiry of the regulatory requirements, if you have not expressly consented to a use of data beyond that. Insofar as mandatory compliance with legal retention periods is required, certain data may be stored for up to ten years.
6. Your rights
6.1
Without giving reasons, you may obtain information free of charge concerning the data relating to your person kept by DKV Luxembourg.
6.2
Furthermore, in accordance with the legal provisions, you have the right to rectify, limit and delete your personal data. If you have given your consent for your data to be used, you may withdraw it at any time without giving any reason.

The user may exercise these rights by sending a request to dpo@lalux.lu.
